Did you know: Our new theme suite Escape is named after Tina Turner 🌟
She slipped out of her room at The Statler where she was staying with Ike, sprinted across the busy highway, and found her way over to the Ramada Inn (what would become Lorenzo Hotel), and asked for a room with just a Mobil credit card and 36 cents in her possession.
Of course, they gave her a room... And this monumental evening marked the beginning of Tina’s freedom and legendary career as a solo artist!
