Dr. Izzo has more than 15 years of experience as a podiatrist caring for people of all ages with problems related to the feet and ankles. His goal is to prevent, diagnose, treat, and rehabilitate his patients’ abnormal foot conditions to eliminate pain and increase function and mobility. Dr. Izzo’s expertise includes general podiatry, sports medicine, wound care, and biomechanics.
Dr. Izzo received his bachelor of science in biology from Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, and his master of science in biology from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He earned his medical degree at Kent State College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, Ohio. Dr. Izzo completed residencies in primary podiatric medicine and surgery at Buffalo Veterans Administration Medical Center, Sisters of Charity Hospital, and Sheehan Memorial Hospital in Buffalo, New York.
He is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, and he is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and Pennsylvania Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Izzo has medical staff privileges at Forbes Hospital.
