Dr Gianutsos graduated from the Charles Drew Program at the UCLA School of Medicine. He completed training in Family Medicine in Seattle and became board certified in Family Medicine in 1996. He is also board certified in Addiction Medicine and has maintained certification in both specialties. Dr Gianutsos is the director of the training program for physicians at Swedish Family Medicine Residency at Cherry Hill. He sees patients twice a week at the Swedish Cherry Hill clinic where he has been practicing since 2002. His interests include general family medicine, substance use disorders and women’s health. He believes in placing the patient in the center of care to help them achieve their desired health and wellness goals. This means treating all patients as individuals with dignity and respect and with attention to shared decision making. He works as part of a team of doctors, nurses, pharmacists and social workers to help keep you connected to your care goals and to assist in coordinating your medical care. He will help care for you wherever needed including during your hospitalization at Swedish, through pregnancy and childbirth.
