Dr. Louis S. Angioletti is a Board Certified ophthalmologist specializing in Vitreoretinal Surgery and in macular disease. He is a graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed his ophthalmology residency at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai. Dr. Angioletti is currently a Senior Attending Surgeon at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai and an active member of the voluntary teaching staff. He has contributed to the training of Ophthalmology Residents and Retina Fellows since 1992. Dr. Angioletti is considered an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of Retinal Detachments, Macular Hole Repair, Macular Pucker Surgery as well as Age-Related Macular Degeneration and Diabetic Retinopathy.
