One of the programs we offer here at Louisiana Baptist University and Seminary is the Master of Theological Studies. This is a 36-hour degree program intended to help the student in their understanding of the bible doctrine. This degree was designed with the pastor-teacher in mind. Update: Louisiana Baptist University Family,
The overwhelming response to the Call to Prayer for the Cory family has been quite amazing, thank you for your prayers and kind words.
By way of an update as of this morning, Dr. Cory had her first 24 hours free of chills or fever. She is feeling some better. Continue to pray that she will improve day by day! Also please remember her husband, Danny, as he was taken to the ER this morning. Alisha has tested positive as well and is really in need of prayer as her two primary care givers are now in the hospital. So far her symptoms have been light.

We here at LBU wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the passing of Dr. Fred H. Moody. He was a pastor, a professor at Baptist Bible College and former Academic Dean of Louisiana Baptist Theological Seminary. On October 27, 2020 Dr. Moody entered into the presence of his heavenly father. Our condolences and prayers go out to his family.
