Highway 100 Closure: Labor Day Weekend Work in St. Louis Park and Minneapolis
Just west of Wooddale, and just west of France Avenue in St. Louis Park, at Lake Street and 21st Street in Minneapolis, construction work over the Labor Day weekend will focus on getting freight rail shifted onto new permanent track. In Minneapolis the focus will be on replacing existing track and utility work. In St. Louis Park freight is being shifted within the corridor. The work requires a full closure of Highway 100. The closure will begin on Saturday, September 5 at 5:00 AM and will reopen for morning rush hour on Tuesday, September 8. Residents should expect work overnight through the weekend beginning the morning of Saturday, September 5.
