I leave for one week and I come back to FALL weather🍂
With the fall weather changes has come the ALLERGIES! I have not done this much sinus work in a long time.
What are allergies?
Allergies are a result of a hypersensitive reaction to an external source. They can manifest in many ways through sneezing, coughing, itching or rashes. Your body sees allergens as a threat thus causing a reaction to the stimulus. Immune system function is crucial when it comes to allergy relief. Our immune system and central nervous system go hand-in-hand and directly affect one another. When your immune system functions properly, your body functions properly and adapts better to allergens!
We are asking a lot of our body’s ability to adapt right now with navigating weather changes, back to school life and daily stressors. Taking the time to reset + recharge is imperative for our body now and in the months ahead.
The Fall weather is not going anywhere but let’s make sure your allergies do!

The only way to make a TRUE change to the body is TIME + REPETITION. You wouldn’t hit the gym once and expect that to support your lifestyle!

Balancing work, maintaining your relationships, navigating your hormones, learning to live with your postpartum body, battling with your anxieties, working through your guilt, agonizing over parenting decisions or missteps, operating on little sleep at times, plus keeping a little person safe all while trying to figure out who you are now after this monumental identity shift. Not to mention the isolation tends to creep in when you least expect it. Those are the hard parts. It’s not your kid. It’s you. Managing yourself, this new you, that is the part that takes the work. I’m learning and evolving every day. I have days when I kill it and days when it nearly kills me. When I say motherhood is hard, it is. Loving my baby and being her mom is not. That’s the easy part!”
