Dr. Brining, originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, received her undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley, where she was a member of the nationally recognized women’s soccer team. After college, she spent time in an oncology lab at UCSF before heading south to Los Angeles to attend USC’s Keck School of Medicine. There, she fell in love with the challenge and complexity of her patients, deciding to complete her Internal Medicine Residency at USC.
Dr. Brining believes patient care is most effective when individualized and collaborative with an emphasis on Preventative Care. Consequently, she takes an individual-focused approach, concentrating on the patient as a whole rather than just his or her symptoms.
Dr. Brining lives in the South Bay with her husband and two children.
