For the past 23 years, LNESC has brought together 50+ future rising Latino leaders from across the U.S. and Puerto Rico and immersed them in a specific public policy area. Students undergo leadership training, advocacy training, and peer bonding exercises, resulting in a tight-knit group of leaders engaged and energized to make a difference in the Latino community.
While our circumstances were unique this year due to COVID, we would like to thank all our student participants for their adaptability and engagement at this years seminar. Today, Latino leaders and community advocates are needed more than ever as the challenges that Latinos face only continue to grow. We hope you share what you have learned at the 2020 WYLS and get involved in your community!
WYLS students got to virtually explore D.C. today, having students visit a number of iconic and historical places like Capitol Hill, the White House, and the Supreme Court!

A number of students asked compelling questions to our featured speakers of today’s Education Townhall. Touching on issues of inequity, funding, digital access, in-person school transitions, economic hardships, and mental health our amazing speakers all offered insightful perspectives!

Here's one of our centers doing great work in light of COVID-19 and adapting to the virtual environment! While our normal social habits have changed, creativity always thrives. Art is a great way to decompress and it provides solace and therapy during times of stress.
