Dr. Lummis continues to excel in quality dentistry
Dr. Lummis is the son of Dr. James F. Lummis and the fourth generation of Lummis dentists to practice in Bridgeton. Born in Bridgton, Dr. Lummis graduated from Bridgton High School in 1962. After graduating from Salem College, in Salem, West Virginia, he served in the military before going on to graduate from the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey in 1974. Dr. Lummis has continued his education throughout his career of over 30 years. He received his Masters of General Dentistry in 2001 after completing over 1100 hours of continuing education. Dr. Lummis has received the prestigious Fellowship Award from the Academy of Dentistry International in 2005. He also is a founder of the R.V. Tucker Cast Gold Study Club of South Jersey and has been an acting president of the Cumberland County Dental Study Club. In the July 2005 issue of New Jersey Monthly Magazine, Dr. Lummis was voted one of the top 63 general dentists in New Jersey by his peers. Dr. Lummis continues to excel in quality dentistry by continuing education and keeping current on the newest materials and the latest techniques. We believe in old-fashioned caring with modern technology.
