M. DelCharco Jr. is the only OB/GYN in Marion County to have completed inspection and received approval to provide level-2 office surgery. In-office surgical procedures offered, include endometrial ablation, dilation and curettage, and hysteroscopy.
Dr. DelCharco is a graduate of Tulane University and earned his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. DelCharco also holds full staff privileges at both Ocala Regional Medical Center and Munroe Regional Medical Center in Ocala, FL.

Meet our wonderful Midwife! Jolene is a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN). She enjoys and understands the importance of the relationship between patients and their environments and strives to promote self-empowerment and awareness. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1997 and then became a registered nurse in 2005. Her work experience has included varied settings such as medical surgical, wound care, forensic nursing, labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn care. She subsequently returned to the university to further her education earning a Masters of Nursing from Frontier Nursing University as a Certified Nurse Midwife. She is now pursuing her lifelong passion of caring for pregnant women and helping them to have the birth experience they desire.
