Dr. M. Mazen Jamal is a gastroenterologist who is leading the charge to provide advanced treatment and diagnostic options for patients suffering from gastrointestinal disorders.
He received his master’s degree (MD) from the University of Damascus Medical School, followed by a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in gastroenterology. Dr. Jamal then completed a fellowship in interventional gastroenterology at the University of Liverpool School of Medicine in England.
In 2001, he received a master’s degree in public health (MPH) at the University of New Mexico’s School of Public Health.
Dr. Jamal is board certified in both gastroenterology and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
He founded Oceana Gastroenterology Associates in 2014, where he diagnoses, monitors, and treats a wide variety of digestive disorders such as stomach pain, ulcers, acid reflux, constipation, and Crohn’s disease.
