Happy National Dog Week! Spoil your dog a little bit extra this week to thank them for all the special love and comfort that they provide for us! We love you!
Ontario County Humane Society, Happy Tails Animal Shelter Yesterday at 7:00 AM · We couldn’t celebrate Adopt a Less-Adoptable Pet Week without mentioning our lovable and inspiring pup Letty. When Letty arrived at the shelter in May 2019, she was living proof of the damage that can be done to a good dog by a bad owner. It was through our staff’s patience, dedication and belief that no dog is beyond rescue that Letty was able to begin her road to recovery. In her honor, we’ve created the For the Love of Letty Rehabilitation Program so all dogs have the opportunity for a better life. Letty has grown from a dog too far gone to sweet girl waiting for her opportunity to be loved and cherished. Can you give Letty that happy ending she’s worked so hard to earn?

Humane Society of Wayne County November 18 at 1:14 PM · **** THEY ARE ALL GONE! Thank you from our shelter animals to all who made generous donations! **** Thanks to the generosity of our community, over the past several years, the shelter has amassed an overabundance of pet carriers and crates. Some are scratched, some are dented, and some may be missing a bolt here and there - but they are in usable condition and can still be put to good use. We have an assortment of both metal and plastic carriers/crates that we would like to make available, as-is, to the public. We ask that you visit during our business hours (Tues - Sat, 10am - 4pm), and we welcome any donation that you feel is appropriate in return. The available crates and carriers are on the right side of our driveway when entering the shelter parking lot. A donation box is located there as well.
