Carrie Mead has officially been selected as Garrison Manager for the US Army Garrison Detroit Arsenal.
Ms. Mead has served as Acting Garrison Manager since December 2019 before accepting the position permanently September 13, 2020. With more than 20 years of experience serving at military installations around the world, she is currently responsible for all installation management services and base operations at the arsenal.
Ms. Mead looks forward to continuing the great working relationships with all our partner organizations. With everyone's support and teamwork the Detroit Arsenal will continue to meet new challenges as they arise.

Recognizing our tremendous leadership team, Adam Ritchie, Coryne Forest, Josh Wymore, Ph.D. who put together a very impactful Fall 2020 ULEAD program that they will be facilitating in partnership with the Macomb County Chamber of Commerce.
This ULEAD cohort will experience 6 half-day workshops together over the next 6 months.

The Macomb County Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Wayne State University's Executive & Professional Development department are offering a three-part educational series on contemporary issues in leadership. This learning experience will include three sessions addressing the following topics:
Reconstructed Work Place
Implicit Bias
Racial Equality
Sessions will be held virtually from 12 p.m. -1 p.m. on the following dates: November 4, 11 and 18. Registrants will receive their log in information the day prior to the session for each week registered.

Priority will be given especially to entrepreneurs of color, women- and veteran-owned businesses and other enterprises in historically under-served places who don’t have access to flexible, affordable capital.
