Mac’s Cafe is now accepting applications for cooks, dishwashers, and servers. We will be at the Cafe every Wednesday from 1 to 4 pm and Thursday’s from 3 to 7PM to meet with you and accept your applications. We look forward to our reopening soon
Hey all of Mac’s wonderful friends, we just wanted everyone to know that we are closer to reopening. As it stands we are looking at POSSIBLY the first week of November. So far it’s looking good. We can’t wait to see everyone’s smiling faces and we are anxiously awaiting to serve you all again. Once we are reopened, our hours of operation will be 7:30 am to 2:00 pm Monday through Sunday. We are all so very happy to be back. We saw a lot of your smiling faces this past weekend. Things are a little different with this Covid so we ask that everyone wears their mask inside and anytime you are up and moving around the restaurant, this is for everyone’s safety. Also when the register is occupied by other customers, we ask that you wait outside until the registers are clear. We would be more than happy to take your name, how many you may have in your party and a cell number if you chose to wait in your car.
The future looks bright at Mac’s. We are going to be implementing a few new Family Pack deals for take out. Please ask when you come in. We’ve also added a few of our favorites back into the menu.

Hi everyone, I just wanted to remind everybody that Christmas is nearly here and we want to let you all know that we will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We will reopen on Saturday, December 26th at our normal hour which is 7AM. Also, for those last minute bakers (like me, lol) we have the perfect solution. We have for $20, a 3 dozen cookie tray, which we are sure everyone will enjoy. So stop in and get yours soon before they all disappear. Also, remember that during these trying hectic times we offer a “Family” lunch special daily. Give us a call and order yours. You’ll be glad you did. Hey everyone, I just wanted to remind folks that Mac’s Route 8 Cafe is open for TAKE OUT out only due to Governor Wolf’s new orders . We remain open for take outs Monday through Sunday 7:00 to 2:00pm. We will be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day but will reopen on December 26th at our regular time. Also, there is still time to get your Cookie Trays. They are all 3 dozen of assorted cookies for $20.00. We also now have Gift Baskets that are beautiful. We have a variety of baskets at different prices. They will make a wonderful last minute gift for anyone. Stop in and pick yours up. Merry Christmas to all!
