Madrugada Pottery is proud to showcase it's excellent pottery and garden art in Portland, OR. I make ceramic garden art. I use a variety of clay bodies, but all fire to a medium high temperature. All my work is hand built by rolling, coiling or pinching. I create molds for some of my pieces and use templates that I make for others. The creation of my pieces takes two to up to 30 days. After the pieces are completed they need to dry from one to two weeks. The first firing is a bisque firing, firing up to around 1900 degrees. The second firing is a glaze firing, firing up to 2300 degrees.
