My sweet and very tired baby IS HOME!!! Thank you to everyone that has shared my post!!! I am overwhelmed by the love!!! Thank you to Jody...the call that helped me get him home!!! We are so happy that he's home. Again thank you so much for all the loveโค๐ถ๐
Please share this post....I'm BEGGING you!!! My sweet and very scared dog slipped out of the garage and ran away. I live in Racine right off of Pierce Blvd and Blaine Ave. He has a red collar with NO tags. But he is chipped. I just can't life without him. I love him sooooo much. Please help me find him.
*Update* He is still missing and no longer has his collar. The wonderful sweet woman that found him took him for a walk and some dogs were barking very loud and scared him out of his collar. ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ

Obesity is a huge health concern for dogs, cats and people alike! It is often very hard to understand that your pet is carrying extra weight but visuals like these help.
Carrying extra weight puts extra stress on their joints and heart making mobility more painful and puts them at risk for a slew of other diseases such as diabetes mellitus that otherwise could have been avoided.

Lots of people often have trouble visualizing what their overweight animals should look like at a pet weight. Veterinarians will give various descriptions to owners, such as how there should be a tuck in the waist visible from both the top down and from the side profile for many breeds. Here are some outlined photos of overweight dogs to show what a rough acceptable weight would look like on them. Every breed is unique and will have different attributes for their build and body style depending on their lineage.

Today we did surgery on a 4 year old kitty, that's been feeling crummy and turns out she had a large Pyometra! A normal uterus should be about the same size as a pen. Pyometras can be very dangerous, but is totally preventable through spaying! โค
