The Artist
Maja McFaul began her career in Jewelry design in 1993. Educated in interior design, she found the structure of the industry limiting to her creative needs. To compensate, the artist began to design and assemble her own creations at home. A focus on decorative home accessories gradually evolved into an emphasis on jewelry and other accessories. Demand for her creations soon lead to a full-time enterprise and eventually to the establishment in 2002 of Maja Inc. Her wholesale business allows Maja the freedom to focus on new techniques and on developing one-of-a-kind designs for sale at arts venues and to exclusive clientele.
The Company
Maja Inc. was founded in 2002 as a wholesale jewelry design and manufacturing business. Maja Inc.’s creations are distributed to fine boutiques, museum shops and specialty stores across the country. The company distributes only products designed and produced in the Maja Inc. studio in Dallas, Texas. Maja remains a small company with two employees. Her apprentice is currently learning Maja’s techniques and assists in the production of designed pieces for the company’s wholesale clientele
