Before applying for admission to the U.S. on a #TNStatus with US Customs and Border Protection Officer a citizen of Mexico must first obtain a #TNVisa Stamp in their passport from a US Consulate or Embassy Abroad.
In order to obtain the TN Visa in your passport as a citizen of Mexico, you must file electronically the DS-160 form, pay the fee for the TN Visa and, also, schedule an interview with a Consular Office.
At the time of interview, you must also present to the US Consular Officer the following documents:
1. your Mexican passport
2. a job letter from the US company that will be employing you, detailing:
the company, the position in which you will be employed, the duties of the position, the dates when you will be employed and your qualification.
3. You must present credentials for the profession including diplomas, High School diplomas and/or experience, and any other licenses that may be required by the TN Nafta Profession in which you will be employed.
