Manish Singh, MD, FAANS, is a board-certified neurosurgeon, specializing in all areas of spinal surgery at his practice in Metairie, Louisiana. Dr. Singh is exceptionally skilled in complex spine surgeries, including revision surgeries and deformity corrections. He uses the latest advancements in minimally invasive surgical technologies and techniques. He is certified and a diplomate of the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
Earning his medical degree from Motilal Nehru Medical College in New Delhi, India, Dr. Singh went on to complete his neurosurgery residency at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He later completed a fellowship in complex spine and adult spine deformity surgeries at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, where he trained under world-renowned spine surgeon, Christopher Shaffrey, MD.
At his practice, Dr. Singh takes a compassionate, comprehensive approach to surgery. He is known for providing the highest standard of care to his adult patients. In addition to his expertise in complex spine surgeries, Dr. Singh also offers general neurosurgery services for treating tumors, trauma, and peripheral nerve disorders.
Dr. Singh is an active member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the American Medical Association, and the Louisiana Neurosurgical Society. In addition to his clinic work, Dr. Singh is actively involved in resident training and is the author of numerous medical articles and book chapters.
