A courageous member of our team took it upon himself to run 100 MILES in the month of January to raise funds for the American Cancer Society. I am sure most of you may know him as the guy who checks you in for your appointments, but to Dr. Mann, he is his brother!
It wasn’t easy waking up most days to run before work Ian said, but he never took shortcuts when it came to running for something so important to him, but he does start his runs with a brisk walk to get warmed up.
“I am older, so waking up before the break of dawn tends to take me a little while before I’m warmed up. However, challenging myself while supporting a great cause selfishly felt really good to be completely honest. I am so glad I did this both for myself and the contributions I was able to collect along the way. I am hopeful that next year I can DOUBLE my contributions while possibly inspiring others to take part.” - Ian Mann

"Dr. Mann in the classroom" - Like raising children, oftentimes creating a beautiful and healthy smile takes a village!. Patients often come in with a complaint about their “underbite.” An underbite can occur due to several different reasons -
1) Due to malpositioned teeth.
2) Due to asymmetric jaw development.
3) Combination of malpositioned teeth in the presence of asymmetric jaw development.
Many times, these underbites are correctable with Orthodontic treatment alone, so long as the jaw asymmetry is not too severe. However, at times, patients may require correction of their jaw positions as well.
