The Graston Technique: An Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manual Therapy for Back Pain
Do you have knee pain?
There can be several causes of knee issues but there's one in particular that comes up when we talk about repetitive motions that can cause pain and/or injuries.
The valgus knee. This is a term for "knock knee's" or "bambi legs". This symptom comes from a couple of underlying issues.
Be aware of this symptom as you perform squats or squat jumps. The force that is placed on the knee in this position can put too much on the ACL, a common sports injury.
Work on that ankle mobility and glute activation with these exercises and not only will you protect the knee but you'll also bet the strength benefits from them as well.

Knee Valgus Is the Movement Deficiency That Plagues Many Young Athletes
Ever have a heavy chest day or tried some new chest exercises and now questioning if you're injured?

3.) Take it easy and do the homework from your treatment plan. This will ensure that your shoulder/chest perform at their best.
Pain alters movement. So even though you might want to continue with your program, it won't be the same. Use this unfortunate incident to your advantage and get your PT to help you move forward the right way.
