Manzella Family Healthcare is a full-service medical facility that serves residents of Palmerton and Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania and surrounding areas. The practice was started by Drs. Edward and Victor Manzella and the brothers have worked together for several years and created a positive rapport with both their patients and the Palmerton and Jim Thorpe communities. Dr. Edward Manzella received his medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine. Over the next few years, Dr. Ed attended Brooklyn-Caledonian Hospital to complete two years of his General Surgery and Trauma residency. He then moved on to St. Michael's Medical Center to complete his residency in Internal Medicine. After receiving his Board Certification in 1992, Dr. Ed moved to Pennsylvania to open the family's first medical practice.
Dr. Victor Manzella received his medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine in 1992. He moved on to complete his residency at Morristown Memorial Hospital. The hospital is affiliated with Columbia University. In 1996, Dr. Victor completed his residency and was eligible to be Board Certified. He then moved to Pennsylvania in 1998 and began working with his brother at Manzella Family Healthcare. Dr. Victor is a member of several medical organizations, including the Pennsylvania Medical Society, the American Medical Association, and the Carbon County Medical Society.
