The finished project is on track to be completed later in 2020, with an opening date of the venue to be determined.
Mara Restoration is finishing up work at the 1500 Locust Street Parking Garage, located in Center City Philadelphia. The scope of work includes concrete repairs, shot blasting and installation of urethane & epoxy traffic coating’s. These coatings provide waterproofing and protection of the concrete surfaces in the parking garage, adding longevity to the overall structure. Through our carefully designed traffic safety planning the garage was able to remain open while the work was being performed.

The Pennsylvania State Monument honors the 34,530 Pennsylvanians who fought at Gettysburg: 1,182 were killed, 3,177 wounded and 860 recorded as missing. Completed in 1914 along Cemetery Ridge, the Union battle line on July 2, 1863, it stands at 110 feet making it the tallest monument on the battlefield. Mara Restoration will be removing and resetting granite from the historic structure, removing and reinstalling granolithic paving and re-pointing the granite stones on the monument.
