About Marina Medispa
Marina Metelitsin, MD offers a unique approach to aesthetic medicine at her practice in Edgewater, New Jersey: Marina Medispa. With over 30 years of experience, which includes a psychiatry specialty, she blends anti-aging services with mental health care that creates an overall sense of well-being for each patient.
Graduating magna cum laude, Dr. Metelitsin received her medical degree from Odessa Medical University in Ukraine. She practiced in Ukraine for several years before immigrating to the United States in 1989, where she later completed an internship in internal medicine at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Dr. Metelitsin continued her medical training at Bergen Regional Medical Center in Paramus, New Jersey, where she completed her psychiatry residency. She is certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is licensed by the state of New Jersey. Her subspecialties include addiction recovery treatment and psychopharmacology, the study of medications used in treating mental disorders.
With an additional certification in aesthetic medicine, Dr. Metelitsin provides various cosmetic services and therapies to help her patients gain a positive body image. She spends plenty of time with her patients, partnering with each one to create a customized treatment plan for optimal results.
