Breast Revision surgery can be done for many reasons. Lately, there is a trend in women who want their larger implants removed and replaced with smaller ones. Other patients, like this one, discovered one of her 18 year old saline implants had ruptured. Dr. Anton gave her the option of deflating her other implant for her, but she decided to replace her older implants with cohesive Natrelle smooth gel silicone ones from Allergan. She also decided to have a breast lift along with her revision. It’s very common for patients to have multiple procedures in one surgery. In addition to a breast lift and implant revision, this patient also opted for liposuction to her abdomen, flanks, thighs and knees. Combining procedures into one surgery is often desirable to patients who lead busy and active lives. Mommy makeovers often include breast surgery plus a tummy-tuck. This patient came to see Dr. Mark Anton in Newport Beach to improve her breasts after breastfeeding her children. She started with a 36 B cup and wanted to be a mid 36 C cup after surgery; she wanted her breasts to have a natural slope and for her cleavage to be closer together. Dr. Anton recommended a breast lift with implants to make her breasts fuller and perkier. Dr. Anton did a breast augmentation with Mentor MP+ smooth silicone gel 275 cc implants placed under the muscle. He also did a full mastopexy lift to tighten her lower breast curve and make her nipples higher and liposuction to her armpit bulge to improve her contours.
