We were recently blessed by the Home Schooled Chapter Beta Club students who shared their artistic talents with us. Autumn Sniffin, Jessica Creagin, Max Voss, Kyrsyka Owens, Andrew Stanley, and Mary Helen Coble all did beautiful sidewalk chalk art that brought a ray of sunshine to all of us. We are so appreciative of them taking the time to do this for us.
As the weather cools down, those with memory challenges may not recognize that they are cold, may not feel cold, or may not be able to express that they are cold, so as their caregivers, it is up to those around them to proactively address this issue before it arises. The expert team at our community shares several tips to assist caregivers with monitoring temperature changes for their loved ones experiencing memory challenges in the post below.

Daylight Savings time ended yesterday (11/1), and we had to turn our clocks back one hour. How are you feeling today after we all had to "Fall back?"

We had a young gentleman stop by today to let us know that our flag was tattered. He was told thank you for letting us know and he left. A few minutes later that same young man returned with a new flag in hand. He even offered to hang it for us. We watched as he removed the old flag, being ever so careful not to let it touch the ground and raised the new one. He came back in to let us know it was hung and shared that he was in the military. We have no idea who this young man is but what a nice act of kindness! We want to thank him for what he did today but we also thank him for his service to our country. It was obvious that he is proud to serve our country and takes tremendous pride in the flag and what it represents. And we are so very grateful!
