We have some updates Dear Martial Arts Plus community, To help curb the Corona Virus numbers in our community, Martial Arts Plus will be enforcing the following rules within our AfterSchool and Martial Arts Programs: • MASKS: Masks must be worn by adults and children to enter our facility. • SOCIAL DISTANCING: Only ONE adult can enter the facility to pick up their child. If someone is at the desk, please wait until they exit before entering the facility. • AfterSchool Sign-In & Out: Parents must enter the front door foyer one at a time to sign their child in or out. Use hand sanitizer before signing your child in or out. When signing your child in, wait at the window until your child completes the temperature check. • Pick-up: Parents can enter the facility after 4 pm to pick up their child. They must stay at the front desk lobby until the child exits the afterschool area. If you wish to watch your child in the Martial Arts class, please enter the facility with a mask on and sit at one of the red tables. These tables are sanitized before class begins. • MARTIAL ARTS CLASSES: Parents and children must wear a mask to enter the facility. Masks must be worn by all students 5 years and up in the class. • Water Bottles: EVERY child MUST have a reusable water bottle with their name on it. If your child does NOT have one, Martial Arts Plus will supply one for $5. Your child may keep their water bottle at Martial Arts Plus. We will sanitize the water bottles every day. • ALL PAYMENTS MUST BE MADE ELECTRONICALLY AND IN ADVANCE! • Bathrooms are for staff and child use ONLY during afterschool hours. We will host an all day study zone for children who have chosen Virtual School for the 2020-21 school year. Benefits include: small group size, designated individual study table, WI-fi for tablets and laptops, teacher assistance for accessing and completing assignments, clean, safe environment, physical activities and more! We’ve made some changes due to COVID-19 Dear Martial Arts Plus community, Martial Arts Plus is still OPEN! We are making a few changes due to COVID 19: • Martial Arts Classes are at 4:45 pm Monday-Thursday • Martial Arts Plus ALL-DAY Education & Activity Location will begin Monday March 30 **Your child can be dropped off as early as 7:30 am. **Pick up time is between 4:45 and 5:45 pm. Children must be picked up before 6 pm so we can clean and disinfect thoroughly for the next day. **The morning hours are dedicated to school curriculum. **Please bring a tablet or device to complete school work. **We will supply paper, pencils, WiFi and snacks Note: All children in the facility at 4:45 pm are required to participate in the structured martial arts class. We have incorporated new social distancing routines for class. The class will include basic cardio exercises and muscle toning that is age appropriate. It will also incorporate fun physical activities! • Because of new Federal and State policies, the space is limited for our all day program. Please call Ms. Joey to reserve space.
