We are past the halfway mark of 2020 and many are wanting time to slow down a bit as returning to school means an end to the lazy days of summer. This is the perfect time for a quick nod to productivity. Here's three unexpected ways to increase your productivity:
1. FIRST 20 minutes of the day - journal the leftover thoughts from yesterday: the conflicts, money worries, tasks left unfinished, etc. Unpack that overstimulated brain onto paper. You'll be surprised at how much easier it is to roll up your sleeves and get to work!
2. PLANNING the week - set aside some time on Sunday or early Monday to plan. Meals, schedule time with your trainer, family activities, grocery list, appointments. With your week set up, you are less likely to miss important things you truly need for your soul to be happy.
3. My favorite - Make CREATIVITY a priority! We are all wired to be creative. This may look different for different people: hiking, painting, working on your car, rearranging your living room, trying a new hairstyle, photography, etc. Remember - CREATIVITY FEEDS THE HUSTLE!

If you know us, you probably know our story but I will say it a million times- GOD IS SO GOOD! People often tell me “y’all deserve it”. We have worked very hard but we do NOT deserve it... but for GRACE. If ANYONE is looking to build, I can NOT say enough about Martin Owner Builder. Mr. Bill is the most amazing man and the BEST person to work with! Michael Jolie and I feel so blessed and just love being home. (Biscuit photo bombed the pics 😂)

One of my all time favorite kitchens - this was actually a remodel where we designed new cabinets and took them to the ceiling, added a bank of pantry cabinets, retrofitted a gorgeous reclaimed New Orleans door at walk-in pantry entrance, replaced granite, appliances, backsplash, lighting, hardware & plumbing fixtures. Added a fantastic brick floor in herringbone pattern. The bridge faucet was a must have. The backsplash a splurge, but OH so worth it!
