Martin Stone, MD, is an experienced and caring primary care physician serving teens and adults in Coral Springs, Florida. With more than 30 years of experience, Dr. Stone has dedicated himself to providing the best personalized medical care available. He offers routine care, like annual physicals and blood work, alongside chronic disease management for diabetes, heart disease, and high blood pressure.
Dr. Stone completed his bachelor's degree at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. He went on to attend medical school at Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Mexico. After earning his medical doctorate, Dr. Stone completed his residency at Christ Hospital (affiliated with Rush Medical College), in Oak Lawn, Illinois. He is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians, and a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine.
After completing his medical training, Dr. Stone relocated to Coral Springs and practiced emergency medicine from 1980 to 1981 before establishing his internal medicine practice in 1981. Dr. Stone served as an associate professor at Ross University School of Medicine from 2012-2015. He is one of the founding members of Nuestra Señora de la Merced Clinic for Indigent Care in Guadalajara, Mexico, and volunteered with the American Heart Association.
Dr. Stone participated in community affairs since moving to Coral Springs, including coaching Soccer, Basketball, and T-ball. Dr. Stone led the fundraising effort at the Coral Springs hospital for the Gulf War Veterans families. He also volunteered as the medical doctor for the care of hurricane victims, staying in the hospital for the duration of the storm.
