Dr. Ibrahim was born in Mosul, Iraq. She grew up in Detroit and Sterling Heights, having moved to the United States at age 10. She completed her OBGYN residency at University of Rochester, Strong Memorial Hospital, graduating in 2015. Since then, in addition to her practice, she was also an assistant professor at the University of Rochester.
She and her husband and two children moved home to Michigan to be closer to her family, and as one of ten children, she is thrilled to have their kids grow up near their many cousins and aunts and uncles. Dr. Ibriham specializes in minimally invasive surgery, and she is fluent in English, Arabic, and Chaldean. She is proud to offer her care and expertise to Oakland Macomb OBGYN’s patients. She enjoys traveling and loves to cook.
