Meet Nathan Odegard, one of our Financial Advisors! Nathan has been at White and Associates for 16 years now. Nathan helps the team manage our proprietary investment models and he works with our clients as a certified financial planner helping them find sustainable solutions so they can better impact the world and achieve their dreams, while finding balance in their cashflow and the day-to-day.

We had an amazing Fall Drive-Thru Event last night! Clients received streusel apple pies from Dave The Pie Guy and hard apple cider from Sociable Cider Werks on a perfect fall evening. We are so thankful to be able to support local during these times and get to see some clients face-to-face while remaining socially distant and wearing masks.
With the winter season approaching, we will try our best to stay creative with our events to remain safe but it will become more difficult to host events outdoors. If you have any events that you would like to see us host that allow for social distancing, please email Hannah.stessman@ampf.com.

Meet Catie Doucette, our newest Associate Financial Advisor (AFA) and Office Manager! Catie has been with White and Associates for a year and a half. When she is not working with clients, she spends her time on office management duties to keep staff and advisors cohesive so that we can serve you with our greatest of performance.
What has been your favorite quarantine hobby?: “Gardening. I rented a little plot here in Bloomington and have been riding my bike to the garden most days. It’s the perfect activity for me to unplug and unwind. To top it off, I haven’t had to buy any vegetables this summer!”
What is your favorite part of your job?: “It’s definitely the people I get to be surrounded by. After this year, I’m sure all of us can attest to how valuable the people around us are.”
Meet Christina Asmus, one of our Financial Advisors! Christina has been with White and Associates for 7 years this upcoming December. As a Financial Advisor, she helps clients discover their dreams and passions while helping create specific action steps on how to achieve them.
What has been your favorite quarantine hobby?: “Audiobooks and puzzles”
What is your favorite part of your job?: “Finding creative ways to help dreams come true.”
Outside of work, what do you spend most of your time doing?: “Photography, working out, and spending time with the people I love.”
Meet Jason White, our Chief Executive Officer and Private Wealth Advisor! Jason has 37 years of experience in the financial industry. As Chief Executive Officer, Jason leads our team of five financial advisors and three staff members. As a Private Wealth Advisor, Jason helps clients plan for their life moments through the caring, personal relationships he builds, and the personalized advice he provides.

Meet Sarah Korsch, our paraplanner! Today is Sarah’s 6-year work anniversary with White and Associates! As paraplanner, Sarah handles all of the trades, portfolio changes and money movements for our advisors.
What is your favorite part of your job?: “I love obtaining knowledge. The financial industry is constantly changing, and there is an endless amount of information to process. My favorite part of each day is the opportunity to learn something new!”
Outside of work, what do you spend most of your time doing?: “Family time! We have a 4.5 year old and an 8 month old, so most of my time is spent playing princess, chasing a crawling baby, making snacks and snuggling.”
We are so thankful to have raised over $3,600 during our virtual food drive for Second Harvest Heartland this past week! Our team set a goal of $500 to begin and were constantly blown away with the donations this food drive received.
We also hosted a food drive for VEAP, a basic needs organization whose programs include access to healthy food, social services, housing stability, and supportive services located in Bloomington. We collected at least 15 bags of household items and non-perishable foods.
Thank you so much for all those who participated in our food drives during this time of need in our community!

This Veteran’s Day, we express our gratitude to all the men and women who’ve served in the U.S. Armed Forces. Thank you for your service.
We had an amazing few Spruce Tip Container Workshops last Wednesday & Friday at Mother Earth Gardens! Everyone’s creations were so beautiful and will last all winter long. The team at Mother Earth Gardens was incredible to work with to help ensure all attendees remained safe and distant while being outside during the workshops. It was so great to see some of our clients face-to-face again, even with masks and sunglasses on!

Our last team introduction is dedicated to our employee that has been here the longest, meet Jocelyn Daily… our Operations Specialist! Jocelyn has been at White and Associates for over 16 years. Jocelyn manages our new business, prepares for and does follow-up after client meetings, and manages the day-to-day tracking of client account activities.
What has been your favorite quarantine hobby?: “Discovering my love of fluid art! Specifically, acrylic-paint pouring and dabbling in decorative epoxy/resins.”
What is your favorite part of your job?: “The knowledge I’ve gained over the past decade and, of course… my coworkers – they are constant inspiration for personal and professional growth.”
Meet Hannah Stessman, our Marketing Specialist. Hannah celebrated one year at White and Associates this June. Hannah plans all our client events, manages our social media and advisor websites, creates and coordinates communication to our clients, and various other projects.
What has been your favorite quarantine hobby?: “I discovered Paint with Diamonds, which is basically paint by number but with jewels instead of paint. It has been a great way for me to mindlessly craft while watching Netflix.”
What is your proudest accomplishment in life?: “So far, my proudest accomplishment has been personally fundraising over $15,000, in my 4 years of college, for the student-run organization University of Iowa Dance Marathon. They financially and emotionally support children that are battling cancer. I have also donated my hair 3 times (as pictured) to create wigs for kids that are going through cancer treatment.”
