Private in office visits
We continue to maintain superior sanitation protocols as well as health monitoring for our staff and patients.
Our practice has also implemented new protocols to allow for a more private experience for our in office patients. The following updates to our schedule protocols have been made:
• Upon arrival to our parking lot we will ask that you notify our staff you have arrived at the building by phone and we will call you to come to the office when your room is ready.
• Patients will now be scheduled to allow direct entry into clinical exam rooms when available, this reducing or eliminating waiting room times.
• After arrival you will be escorted directly to a private room/waiting area where you will then be seen by the doctor.
Maryland Vision Center is continuing to offer telehealth appointments for new and existing patients. During a telehealth appointment we can diagnose, treat, educate and prescribe medications if needed.
Dr. Thadani will connect with patients through the following methods:
• Video chat (This can be through facetime, zoom, video using your cell phone)
• Phone call: Our technicians and Dr. Thadani will review your history, visual complaints and medications to ensure that you stay up to date with you eye care needs.
If during a telehealth visit Dr. Thadani thinks it is necessary that you be seen in the office, he will inform you of this and a staff member will reach out to you to get private in office visit set up.

Six Things Your Ophthalmologist Wants You to Know About Coronavirus
Dr. Thadani and the Staff at Maryland Vision Center would like to provide you with some important information regarding your eye health during the duration of the COVID -19 pandemic. We are still seeing patients with Emergent eye related issues-please contact our office as needed at the number below.
We also have a select number of appointments available via telephone and video visits. Tele-Visit and Telephone appointments will allow you to have a video or audio consultation with our doctor from the comfort and safety of your home. These visits are covered by health insurance programs as well as Medicare at this time.
