About

My name is Masharat Mujib, MHC-LP , a Pre-licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor specializing in individual, couples and family therapy. I practice therapy under the supervision of Amira Crawford, LCSW-R, in Brooklyn, NY and several convenient locations based on my clients needs. After graduating from City College CCNY in Psychology , I completed my Masters in Clinical Mental Health and Counseling from Medaille College in 2019, since 2018 I have been working with two therapy practices called TherapistForBlackGirls and HealHaus. I am formally trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Holistic Therapy, and generally am an interactive, solution-focused therapist.

I work with individuals, couples who are struggling with a wide range of emotional and interpersonal problems, such as but not limited to depression, anxiety, grief, family stressors and relationship, commitment, and sexual issues. I offer poly affirming and kink aware psychotherapy. My goal is to create a safe, inclusive. sex-positive, non-judgmental, and empowering space for all people to explore the depths of their emotions, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors so that they can identify and explore their needs, wants and desires.
