Today, the Matlock Tire family is 92 members strong. Our success in business is in large part due to the tremendous employees we have had and their loyalty & dedication both to the business and to our customers.
17 Matlock Tire employees have been with us for over 20 years.
11 have been with us for over 30 years.
And incredibly, 6 employees have been with our family for more than 40 years.

Our family business has been a retailer of Goodyear tires for several decades. We have proudly viewed ourselves as extensions of the brands that we retail in the communities we serve.
So the news that Goodyear has decided that it’s okay for employees to express support for certain political causes but not for law enforcement is not only disappointing. It’s embarrassing. We support law enforcement at Matlock Tire.
Today I called Goodyear Tire and let them know exactly that.
When customers come in to Matlock Tire we want anyone to feel comfortable doing business with us - no matter their political persuasion or opinion.
When the brands we retail don’t reflect that same mentality, it is inconsistent with how we do business. I look forward to Goodyear correcting this error.

We're excited to be a part of the Hardin Valley School Supply Drive! Bring any of the school supplies listed on the flyer below to our new Hardin Valley location, and they will be picked up and distributed to kids in need for the upcoming school year!
We enjoyed having the one and only Phil Williams out to the Hardin Valley store this morning! Phil helped us announce our upcoming 4th of July promotion, where we are giving away not 1, but 2 sets of tires valued up to $800! Since the 4th of July parades are cancelled, many folks are decorating their yards instead. Whoever has the 2 best decorated yards (as voted on by our judges) and submits the pictures to our Facebook page, will win a free set of tires valued up to $800! Let the decorations begin!
Thanks to Goodyear for sending two of our best (and their better halves) to the race at Talladega this weekend. Thank you to Taylor and Jon for being great teammates at Matlock Tire, and we hope you enjoyed a well deserved trip!

Even though we had to cancel the Christmas Dinner this year, we were still able to give out our "Technician of the Year" awards at each of our locations. We appreciate the hard work of everyone on our team, but we especially wanted to honor those that went above and beyond this year.
