I grew up in Newport Beach and have been back living here since 2001. After growing up in Orange County, then living in New England, Boulder Colorado and Park City, I can honestly say that Orange County is one of the greatest places to live in the country. We are fortunate to have access to the ocean and the mountains in the same day. The weather and the diverse backgrounds that we all come from to form a community in which we are proud to live.
My wife and I are high school sweethearts and got married in 2002. We have four daughters and a yellow lab named Linus. My wife is involved with the Choc Children's hospital and has her hands quite full as a full time mother. Some of my favorite things to do are to take my kids to the Newport Pier to surf, or body surf at A street. I am an avid surfer and can be found at River Jetties almost every morning. I am a former professional snowboarder and still get up to Big Bear quite often.
I became an insurance agent to help people manage their everyday risks. My goal is to help people worry less and enjoy more of their life. We work together to help evaluate the needs of customers and come up with a coverage package that can allow them to sleep well at night. I find it satisfying to hear a customer thank us for just letting them know their options are and they can make an informed decision from there.
Staying active in the local community is important to me. I am a member of the Irvine Chamber of Commerce. I am a former board member of the Next Up Foundation that provides mentoring and afterschool programs based on lessons learned from action sports and overcoming obstacles in life. I am also involved with the Surfrider Foundation and their efforts to protect our coastline.
