Dr. Thomas specializes in pediatric infectious diseases in the Department of Medicine. His areas of academic and clinical interests include antimicrobial stewardship, antimicrobial resistance, environmental antimicrobial contamination and the effect on the human microbiome and microbial ecology. Dr. Thomas joined Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in August 2016, after completing a fellowship in pediatric infectious diseases at the University of Miami School of Medicine/Jackson Memorial Medical Center. Before that, he was chief resident of pediatrics as West Virginia University/Charleston Area Medical Center.
