MaxStrength Fitness was founded by Jeff Tomaszewski, who holds a master’s degree in exercise physiology and lives up to his title of Chief Life Transformer. His innovative concept is based on intense one-on-one, trainer-led workouts performed on precision computerized equipment—three advanced systems called SuperSlow, MedEx and David. We’re the only facility in the nation to provide all three lines under one roof in each studio. These systems are engineered to safely produce maximum muscle fatigue in the least amount of time.

Our clients see profound results and stay with us for the long term, partly because our workouts are non-sweat-producing. Each studio’s temperature is set to a pleasant 60+ degrees, so you can easily pop in and out on your lunch hour and not worry about having to shower.

Jeff also culls information from the latest physiology studies to help our clients stay on the leading edge. He publishes reports and e-books about health and nutrition, such as “Sugar Detox” and “Healthy Snacks and Appetizers.”

❓MYTH OR FACT ❓ 🤔Playing a video game can help stop a craving. . 🙈 . 🙉 . 🙊 🔥YES! 🔥 💡Researchers found that playing a game of Tetris actually helped people overcome their cravings! 📲Scientists think that playing the game distracted them long enough for cravings (which usually last just a short while) to pass. 💡In a study published in the journal Appetite, college students who were having cravings either played a video game or waited for the computer to load. 💥A quarter of the game players reported their cravings went away. 👉🏾Note: it doesn’t have to be Tetris, according to the researchers. 🏃‍♀️💪Do you ever feel extra-hungry after a hard workout? 😋 ✅ It’s actually pretty common. I know that our workouts at MaxStrength Fitness can do that to me. 💥Almost immediately, I notice cravings. 🍽🥤Plus, sometimes after a workout it’s tempting to think that we “deserve” it for working so hard! 🤪But the truth is, usually I’m craving quick energy (like carbs!) and get hungry for things that aren’t the best for reaching my goals. 💯 To stop all this before it starts, I down a protein drink after my workout. It makes a HUGE difference! ✅It’s just enough to keep me fueled and also help me get better results from my workouts. 👉Do you find that your workouts leave you feeling hungry later?
