McBride Auto Body, Inc., established in 1937 by its owner, Joseph W. Carioti Sr, was first located at 526 McBride Avenue, West Paterson. In 1941, it was moved to 561 McBride Avenue as the need for their service grew Over the years McBride Auto Body Inc. has watched many body-shops come and go with great sadness. The owners of McBride Auto Body have always fought for the rights of the auto repair shops and for the rights of the insured when it was apparent that the laws were unjust. They have always had the belief in customer service, that honestly and quality workmanship are McBride's best assets. Their grandfather always believed that common sense was a person's best investment in life. McBride Auto Body Inc. guarantees their work for as long as you own your car. McBride Auto Body, Inc. has always been run by the old standards of doing things, if they are not 100% proud of the product that they have produced, it does not leave the shop. The building was set up to be a 10-man shop. The bays in the work area were all established for different kinds of repairs. In one work area, we have four bays for body repair, one lift area for the mechanical work, and one with a drive on frame machine. They also have a fully functional spray room, recently redone with an up to date spray bake system set off in an extension of the building so that it does not effect the work areas. The parking and storage area are completely fenced in and to the right of the building. This area also holds the shipping and receiving department. Entirely accessible with an overhead door for drive in delivery so that parts and supplies are not soiled in the changing weather. For customer convenience they offer towing within a twenty-five mile radius, with pickup and delivery if the vehicle is not driveable, along with providing a rental car if needed. A general must for this shop is that all of our employees are I-CAR certified and are constantly being brought up to I-CAR standards. If employees are not I-CAR certified when hired, the company will pay for their education at no expense to the employee. Office hours are 6:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
