Growth hormone…what does that have to do with getting pregnant? Growth hormone is one of many pituitary gland hormones. Growth hormone deficiency can interfere with growing taller. Growth hormone deficiency may also interfere with ovarian functioning and fertility. Prescription growth hormone is utilized for growth hormone deficiency, and it is regulated by the government. Brand names of prescription growth hormone include Omnitrope, Norditropin, and Humatrope. When the lining is thin it is associated with the lower probability of pregnancy. For several decades, we have struggled with many different therapeutic options to try and improve the refractory endometrium. It is a source of much consternation and frustration as many treatments have come and gone, none has proven successful in the end for most patients. This is where PRP may be very helpful for many in this difficult situation. We have had success with this at MCRM Fertility and include this in our repertoire of options for patients in this situation. It is easy and reasonable expense at MCRM. In patients with implantation failure, this particular treatment may also be a consideration depending upon the case… It’s always something to know about and discuss.
