WHAT IS A PHOTOFRACTIONAL FACIAL?
Let's break this big word up into smaller parts.
Photofractional: photo... and fractional. The first part, photo, refers to a photofacial, wherein Eva Marie, our laser provider, performs an IPL (Intense Pulse Light) treatment all over your face. This half of the photofractional treatment targets redness and discoloration (think those little brown age spots or broken capillaries and rosacea). The second half of the word ("fractional") refers to our non-ablative fractional laser - the ResurFX. What this means is that will not ablate, or break, the surface of the skin, and that the fractionated light of the laser will make micropunctures in the skin to stimulate new collagen growth - so, basically, take all the good stuff you've heard about microneedling and put it on steroids. ✨🙌🏼💙
