”The famous Italian diver Enzo Mallorca dove into the sea of Syracuse and was talking to his daughter Rossana who was aboard the boat. Ready to go in, he felt something slightly hit his back.
He turned and saw a dolphin. Then he realized that the dolphin did not want to play but to express something.
The animal dove and Enzo followed.
At a depth of about 12 meters, trapped in an abandoned net, there was another dolphin. Enzo quickly asked his daughter to grab the diving knives. Soon, the two of them managed to free the dolphin, which, at the end of the ordeal, emerged, issued an "almost human cry" (describes Enzo).
(A dolphin can stay under water for up to 10 minutes, then it drowns.)
The released dolphin was helped to the surface by Enzo, Rosana and the other dolphin. That’s when the surprise came: she was pregnant!
The male circled them, and then stopped in front of Enzo, touched his cheek (like a kiss), in a gesture of gratitude and then they both swam off.
Enzo Mallorca ended his speech by saying: “Until man learns to respect and speak to the animal world, he can never know his true role on Earth." ~ Vangelis.”

The dedication of the elephant Doctor!
When Lana, an elderly elephant at Elephant Nature Park became seriously constipated the elephant vets imediately began to treat her.
They treat her with an enema, as if the blockage is left untreated it can be fatal. However the Dr's treating her got a big shock as the blockage cleared!
Luckily now Lana is feeling much better.
All in a days work for an elephant doctor!

Took the fam to Red River over Labor Day this year. We all went on on a trail ride in the mountains. Andre was a very large sure footed mule who towed over the others in the string. Really enjoyed the ride!

Baby Rocky is still not quite out of the woods. Dr. Mark Meddleton was here for a follow up exam. Unfortunately, while we’ve made terrific gains in his overall health, Rocky still has signs of pneumonia and a recurring fever of 102, after nearly a month on antibiotics. He is now on a daily regimen of intramuscular injections for the next week to clear up the rattling in his lower lungs and stabilize his temperature.
He adores the attention from everyone, especially our Horse Leaders and the boys!

Wowza This incredible Curly wild stallion is just beyond gorgeous with his blue eyes and curly hair. The Wild Mustang Curly Horse is a strain of horse that is extremely rare. This wild free-ranging horse carries a special specific gene that causes the horse’s coat, mane, and tail to curl, along with other unique traits, thus the name ‘Curly Horse’. Curlies are known for their kind and mellow demeanor, and their curly coats which are hypoallergenic! This is a beautiful Critically Endangered Spanish Barb mare. Check out those eyes! And the feet! Check this out - this foot hasn’t been trimmed in over 10 years and it’s perfect.
Prettiest eye!

My Brother and his Wife are coming from Anchorage, AK to Albuquerque for some medical care (Brother) in December for a few weeks. They are looking for a place to stay / rent for a few weeks. Any leads would be greatly appreciated!
