I am part of a team that works hard to make sure Dartmouth-Hitchcock is up to date on new, state-of-the-art care. We provide alternatives to surgery for the treatment of heart disease. We also help advance the science of how best to make decisions together with our patients.
I spend most of my time caring for people with heart valves that are not working well. When needed, I fix them through small tubes (catheters) placed in a blood vessel. In the setting of more choices than ever before, I am committed to ensuring the patient’s voice is heard and respected.
As part of a larger group of leaders, we strive to understand how best to put patients’ goals and preferences in the center of our decision making.
I am grateful for our fantastic referring clinicians. I love serving as a resource for them at any time, improving access to care and thoughtful decision making with a personal touch.
