A lifelong passion for pregnancy, birth, and women’s healthcare drew Megan to a career in midwifery. Megan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Whitman College, trained as a doula at Seattle Midwifery School, and volunteered as a birth assistant before going on to earn both her Bachelor and Masters of Nursing from the University of Washington. She worked briefly as an RN caring for postpartum mothers and babies at Northwest Hospital. After becoming board certified as a nurse-midwife Megan worked for a busy midwifery practice in Olympia, Washington. Megan is a skilled and compassionate clinician who enjoys providing healthcare to women across the lifespan and particularly partnering with families during pregnancy and childbirth.
