Dead valley reconstruction before and after. This is a historical home built in the 1800s. The synthetic slate roof was installed with a large dead valley between 2 gables that leaked badly. We corrected the problem by framing and decking a sloped valley, tied in with comp shingles and a 2 layer modified bitumen system. No more leaks!
