Hey There! I’m Melissa. I’m a Wife, Mother, REALTOR, and Colorado Native. I graduated from Colorado State University in 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, concentrating in Business Management and a certificate in Supply Chain. Prior to beginning my career in Real Estate, I spent a decade in the retail industry, both in the stores and in corporate offices. In January 2016, my husband and I welcomed our daughter, Ava, into our family. At that point I also chose to take a year off work to focus on our family. During that time, I realized my former career had not been fulfilling my passion for helping others as much as I desired and decided to pivot in a direction I was more passionate about; Real Estate. In January of 2017 I officially became a licensed Broker Associate and joined the family business at James C. Hill Real Estate.
Although I am in my first year in my Real Estate career, I am fortunate to have mastered many areas of expertise from my previous career that my clients are able to leverage today. Most importatly being the level of customer service that I expect from myself. I spent 8 years of my career dealing with luxury brands and am fortunate to have received industry leading customer service training. My clients can expect that I check my ego at the door; their goal is becomes my goal. Sometimes that means letting a small request slide and other times that means using aggressive strategies to get the deal done. Either way, my clients are in control throughout the process.
Choosing to start my career a boutique brokerage rather than a large corporate change was definitely far from the status quo but also not a decision I took lightly.
