We'd like to introduce you to one of our two new veterinarians!! This is Dr. Tonima Dan! She has been with us since June 2020. Dr. Dan has always loved animals since childhood. She knew that she wanted to become a veterinarian when she was a college student renting a room from a small animal veterinarian. She would job shadow this doctor during weekends and developed a passion for taking care of cats and dogs. After receiving her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Guelph, she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Ontario Veterinary College. Upon graduating in 2007, she worked in Chicago at Banfield the Pet Hospital before moving to work in Green Bay. Dr. Dan joins us from Happy Tails Veterinary Clinic, where she practiced for eight years. When Dr. Dan isn't here with us treating her patients, she can be found reading, painting, or cuddling with her cat, Isabelle. December 14 at 12:40 PM · Recently, most aspects of our lives have changed, however, the need for wildlife rehabilitation, volunteers, donations, etc. has not gone away! One true constant that has not changed is the assistance that you, our followers and rescuers, have given to Wildlife Of Wisconsin. Whether it be from donating in-kind supplies, monetary donations, or even meeting us half way with an animal, we are forever thankful to YOU! With all the rehabilitators from the Fox Valley area closed due the pandemic, we have been stretched very thin while still trying to follow COVID-19 protocols and keep everyone safe. Most of our educational programs were cancelled and we have seen an increase of 25-30% in patients and just cannot catch everything. Thank you for understanding if you are one of these individuals who were on that end. Seeing most of our volunteers are not on the property we have been struggling keeping you posted on what we have been doing over the past year. Here are a few pictures of some of the animals that passed through our doors this past year.

He took off before I got to him but at least we know he is around and that we will hopefully have him inside soon. We are looking for our male cat, Johnny. He lives on North 5th St. in Manitowoc. We haven't seen him since late last night and we are worried. We think he snuck outside when letting the dogs out. If you see him, please call/text Jenny at 920 629-4045.
