It’s recommended that most women between the ages of 21 and 65 get regular Pap test as part of their routine preventative health care. It’s important to note that women who have gone through menopause and are younger than 65 still need regular Pap tests.
Some people are genetically predisposed to varicose veins, and even those who aren’t might notice them during pregnancy. These are natural, but to reduce the possibility of their appearance, you will want to avoid heeled shoes, since this pushes weight to the front of your foot and worsens the problem.
I just turned 65. Do I still need to get regular Pap tests? Ask your gynecologist, but for many doctors, if you have three good test results in a row and have turned 65, you probably do not need to continue regular Pap testing.
Did you know that deodorant or antiperspirant can show up on the image and interfere with the results of a mammogram? This is why you should never wear them to your mammogram.
Do I need a Pap test if my cervix was removed as a part of a hysterectomy? Check with your gynecologist, but if you don’t have a medical history that includes cervical cancer or abnormal Pap results, most experts say you don’t need to continue getting the test.
One advantage of visiting our professionals as soon as you find out you are pregnant is that doing so enables us to determine whether you may be a carrier of a gene that could potentially cause your children to have certain health issues.
