Under a beautiful sunrise over the weekend, crews began pouring concrete for the proton vault of the new Proton Therapy Center at #MercySTL. The pour required placement of 500 cubic yards of concrete - that's nearly 60 truck loads of concrete - and took nearly 12 hours to complete with two concrete pumps working continuously and concurrently.
