Happy Mercy Day! While our celebrations may have looked different this year, we marked 193 years since Sisters of Mercy founder Catherine McAuley opened the House of Mercy in Dublin, Ireland.
The House of Mercy has remained open since 1827 to serve the poor, sick and uneducated. More: https://bit.ly/33UrApm
A bet's a bet! Our community presidents made a friendly wager on the outcome of the Oklahoma Sooners vs. Missouri State University football game last weekend. The bet? The losing team's president had to don the opposing team's gear. Shout out to #MercySGF's Craig McCoy for being a good sport!
We're celebrating #EVSWeek and the talented people called to a special ministry. Our environmental services team plays a critical role in providing safe, quality care for patients and it's never been more important than during this pandemic. We're grateful for their service.
Happy NICU Nurses Day to the wonderful co-workers taking care of our tiniest patients. We are grateful for you.
We're celebrating the team at Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital Oklahoma City and grateful for the incredible care they provide.

Don't delay emergency care! Unfortunately, we're still seeing some patients who've held off "hours, days and sometimes weeks." Please know we are ready (and safe): https://bit.ly/3lSVoe6.
ICYMI: We are so excited to celebrate Della's inspiring recovery from COVID-19 and the care team that helped her along the way. This is a wonderful example of how we collaborate with our rural facilities like Mercy Hospital Logan County to provide high quality care for patients across the state.

We are so grateful for our talented, compassionate team of respiratory therapists and the way they serve patients. They've always been a critical part of the care team, but their role has been more challenging this year with COVID-19. Thank you for your heroic efforts to help our patients breathe.

In the midst of caring for thousands of patients today, including those fighting for their lives in our hospitals and ICUs, the women and men of Mercy mourned the death and injury of many in our nation's capital yesterday.
Together with our Sisters, we will continue to pray for peace.
We were honored to host the first public vaccine clinic in Oklahoma County today in partnership with OKC-County Health Department. 1,200 adults age 65 and older will receive a COVID-19 vaccination by the end of the day. We learned a lot from this first clinic and look forward to refining our process to serve more Oklahomans in the near future.

This team delivered vaccinations directly to clinical co-workers on patient care units this week with a mobile vaccine clinic. The arrival of the COVID-19 vaccine reminds us of the hope the Christmas season brings each of us, much in the same way the birth of Jesus brought hope to a hurting world. Thank you to our community for your love and support during a challenging year. We wish you a Merry Christmas and a healthy, safe holiday season.
We are so grateful for the love and support of our community this holiday season. TLC Garden Centers donated 550 beautiful poinsettias for our co-workers to enjoy this Christmas.
